The service I raved about yesterday, which allows me to make blog posts from my cell phone, has a 140-character limit. Text Messaging, technically called SMS, does stand for Short Messaging System so that is reasonable enough.
I bring it up again, though, to clarify that in order to keep with the intended purpose of Twitter, most of those posts will be in the form of an answer to the question which is the basis of the service. Namely, to ask: “What are you doing?”. So my tweets will be saying something about what I’m doing. So if you wonder why the hell I’m posting random stuff like that, that’s why. Because it’s cool 
. (And it keeps my blog fresh, but whatever.)
Also of note is the fact that being a text message, the title is created from the beginning words of the text message. I’d write a proper title first, but then I’d be screwing myself out of those characters which are already in short supply.
