The Site

I figured I should clarify, just in case anyone ever decided to stop by or found me through a search engine. I don’t know what you’d have to search for to end up on such a random site, but stranger things have happened.

This website is my personal blog. While many blogs have much more noble purposes, this one serves as my online journal. My chronicle of my life. All its chaos, all its randomness, or at least as much of it as I can remember during the times I come up for air. It is greatly helped by Twitter, whose service makes it easy for me to chronicle my life. (Though my Twitter plugin seems to have broken, I have not given up hope of its getting fixed one day.)

While it’d be nice to think that I’m doing this because I’m so terribly interesting and my over-inflated ego expects you’ll think so too, I’m afraid reality is nowhere near as exciting. The simple fact is, I’ve got a lot going on. It’s hard for me to keep straight, and I tend to move on to about 7 different things before I have a minute to catch my breath and reflect, and by that time I’ve completely forgotten anything to reflect on anyway. This blog is for my own benefit. So I can remember. So that when I have grown, I can always come back and remember exactly where I had been, and appreciate how far I’ve come. For that matter, I wish I’d blogged about a LOT more since I’ve owned this domain. But so it goes. That’s the purpose anyway. Online so it’s easy to keep track of, and certain family members and friends can keep loose track of me too, since I don’t tend to be so good at keeping up with them all the time.
